Hi, I’m Doménica Niño, the founder behind Bloom House ATX — I'm an artist and flowers are my medium.
I come from a background in public health, where I worked as a health communications specialist. After earning a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Studio Art from Tufts University, I spent years strategizing health initiatives, storytelling, and connecting with diverse communities. But despite the fulfillment I found in public health, I realized my heart belonged elsewhere — in the realm of creativity and beauty.
As a trained visual artist and painter, I have a deep appreciation for color, texture, and composition. These skills naturally translated into floral design, where I now use flowers as my medium to evoke emotion and tell stories.
My designs are shaped by my artistic eye and a thorough understanding of how design elements can connect with people on a deeper level. At Bloom House ATX, I blend my artistic training, my background in health communication, and my passion for nature to craft floral arrangements that are both visually striking and emotionally appealing.
